Payment Gateway

We use Stripe to securely process your online payment. The transaction is processed on Stripe’s servers and no personal data is collected or stored on our website. See Stripe’s privacy policy and New Zealand services agreement.

Customs Requirements

New Zealand law requires customs documentation to be attached to all international packages. This includes the cost and a description of the goods. We complete this documentation. However, we have no control over any taxes and/or duties levied or items which may not be allowed into other countries. Any additional charges or matters are your responsibility.

Please contact your local customs office for further information and check you can import the items being ordered.

Delivery Within New Zealand

We deliver all items with New Zealand Post. If a signature is required and there is no-one home, the courier will leave a card so the recipient can arrange a time for re-delivery. Please note only standard parcel service is able to be delivered to post office boxes.

International Delivery

We use New Zealand Post as our preferred freight service . Their International Air option does not include tracking. International Air Courier and International Express Courier include tracking and require a signature on delivery.

Your Obligations

Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address when ordering items. We copy and paste the delivery address directly from the website to ensure accuracy. If there is any customer error in the address given, redelivery to the correct address may incur an additional delivery charge.

Once an order has been passed on to New Zealand Post, New Zealand Gifts Online is no longer responsible. New Zealand Gifts Online will not be held responsible for any loss or damage arising from a late or missing delivery. A late delivery does not constitute reasonable grounds to cancel an order.

Gift-wrapping

We offer gift-wrapping free of charge as an option at the Checkout. If you choose to have your purchase gift-wrapped we will do this. Please note however, that we cannot control what may happen when your purchase goes through Customs (either in New Zealand or in your country).

We do not foresee that this will be a problem but if your package does arrive unwrapped it will be because Customs have unwrapped/opened it as part of their inspection.

NZ Consumer Guarantee Act

All purchases from this site are covered by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 which guarantees that any goods purchased for personal use may be returned, if they are considered faulty, for repair, replacement or refund of purchase price within a reasonable period of time as defined by Act.
